A powerful compact SUV that offers plenty of style, the new Dodge Hornet has two trim levels, the GT and the R/T. While both models come with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, they have very different engines.

The GT boasts 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque from its turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and the R/T delivers an impressive 288 horsepower from its hybrid turbocharged electric engine. The GT had a combined gas mileage of 24 mpg, and the R/T puts its hybrid fuel economy on full display by giving drivers a combined 79 mpg when factoring in the engine running on full electric.

Inside, the Dodge Hornet offers plenty of space despite its compact size and features a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a suite of driver assistance and safety features, and convenient connectivity utilizing either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
